Who needs to spend $15 on a stand when you can have THIS???  One of the things that we all need in life is purpose and tonight this is K-9s.

Birthday parking lot surprise

This is not something you see on every birthday! Wish I could have gone for a ride! All I had with me was my iPad....but it did a fine job of substituting as a camera.

Cawker City, Kansas

On our way to Smith Center, KS, we drove through Cawker City.  Dawn had been there this summer.  If you blink, you miss it.  But, it was 3 city blocks of rusty treasures and old buildings.  I didn't get out of the car and just opened my window and shot with my P&S.  Dawn, as seen on the last photo, had more creative inspiration than me!

Ty is an avid hunter and biker.  He and his wife Courtney were quite the inspiration.  It was a delight to get to know them and hear their story.

What a delightful lady. Her niece and nephew came over and they just loved on each other.

I went off-roading with Cody in Kansas today. What fun! He was so nice to work with this afternoon. He just got his TC (tank chair) and that will allow him to go hunting anywhere.
