This is my 88 year old golfing friend Clara. We both scored a 4 on hole 6 today. Amazing! She is such a delight to golf with and is ALWAYS the best dressed lady on the course!

Branched Oak Dairy
Dawn & I went out to visit Krista & Doug this morning. I'm happy to report that we found a bluebird box with eggs and Dawn finally got her bluebird picture! We decided to set up the food shots outside. The background was so bright that I used my ND filter to compensate for the background and flash to light the food. It was a glorious day in Nebraska and it was super fun to be a part of their day on the farm.

HDR for real estate
Here are some samples. These were bracketed pictures from my 7D, then processed in Photomatix HDR software. (Photo #2 was from in-camera HDR on my G12) Works perfectly for real estate applications.
Volunteer Dan
I was working with Tami today on using flash indoors. Dan was a super subject. There was a ton of natural lighting coming from above, so we just added the flash - straight at him with -3 EV. The fong, natural dome was on too, to just push a little bit of light through his glasses and get a catch light in his eye. 20-35 Lens - heavily cropped.

Macro with G12
Dawn came over this morning and we took pictures of interesting things in my yard. She had my macro, so I tried out the G12. Used off camera flash for this photo of a tiny spider's web in the grass.

My first triptic canvas
This is super cool - 3 giant canvas prints from one picture! My living room is super dark in the summer, so even in full shade this picture pops off of the wall. The picture is from Glacier National Park on the shore of Swiftcurrent Lake.

Zephyr at work
It took this gal a long time to warm up to Zephyr, but Zephyr was so patient. She just sat there. It was super cute. She was having speech therapy today.
