What a superfun day today. Pam did a tandem jump. She was definitely the most color coordinated jumper that I saw. It was a perfect day and everything went as planned.

Madonna project
This is a project I'm working on for Madnonna. I'm taking the pictures that show the dog/human connection and Mural/Mural is doing the paintings. Two down, three more to go.

Old pictures, but worth a new look
This series was taken BEHIND glass at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. The light was absolutely perfect and I don't know anything that's quite as cute as a baby giraffe. It's an example that really nice pictures can be taken through glass. 40D + 70-200 F4
The trick - be as close as you can to the glass with your camera and the subject needs to be back away from the glass. 50D + 100mm Macro.

Scratched rear element
This is the condition of the lens that I just bought off of craigslist. The front element is pristine and this is the picture of the rear element. Normally, you'd probably run away from something like this, but just look at the two posts below this one. No need to run away - these marks don't impact the picture. Wow, how in the world does that work? Oh well, this lens was a bargain and came aptly nicknamed "the warrior".
Work day
I was the photographer at our church work day around Lincoln today. We had zero light, which made for nice straight flash pictures. M mode - inside and out - straight at ya flash at -3..... 7D + 20-35L lens.

New - 20 year old lens
Go craigslist. Found a 20 year old 20-35 2.8 L lens. An oldie, but a goodie. I can use it on my 1D classic. Yeah. Direct flash at -3.

Inside flowers
Karron and I went over to Campbell's this morning. Drip irrigation does amazing things for hanging baskets!
