Happy New Year

Our last meal of 2010 was at Bread & Cup tonight.  It was a lovely end to a great year (with one interesting twist - e-mail me if I haven't told you).  I hope that 2011 will be even better.

Lunar Eclipse

I rolled over tonight and woke up remembering that there was an eclipse going on.  I thought Darwin had an alarm set, but I don't remember anything going off.  Oh well, I still caught it while it was nearly full (top).  Then I stayed up for another 45 minutes later.  Sometimes the coolest things to take pictures of are at the strangest times!  7d + 100-400 at 400, wired remote & M mode.

Christmas at Lauritzen Gardens

LaVon and I went to Omaha today.  I just took my S95 and had a fabulous time.

A Ghost!

Well, not actually, but it is Gordon.  I was taking a long exposure in a poorly lit entry way and he walked in and started talking to me.  His eyes got really big when he realized that he was directly in the picture!  That is Gordon.....I hope.

Squaw Creek

Northern Pintails

The lunch room
Can you find all the eagles in the tree (I think there are 6).  Pam and I went down to Squaw Creek this afternoon.  It was loaded with birds.  But most of them were a long way from the lens.  Oh well, it was a beautiful day and we saw a nice, friendly raccoon.

Zoo & P&S

Took the S95 to the zoo today.  Gave Dawn a lesson on her new 7D +100-400.  If that wasn't fun!
