It's still winter!

Woke up today to 3 or so inches of fresh snow. What a treat for the dogs (and me too)! These are plain old shots from my 70-200mm lens uncropped.

Polar Plunge

After a long vacation, the yellow finches returned today. I'll have to go and give them some fresh food!

Nobody home....but we kept looking and we did find one young eagle.

I went down to Pam's today and we went hunting.....with cameras. Oh were we ever excited to find the eagle!!!!

Bird Practice

Darwin and I went out to Branched Oak this afternoon. Saw lots of birds, including several eagles.

Valentine's Day

Deb and I went snowshoeing at the lake this morning. Walla! Hoar Frost again!!!! What a delight. We walked for an hour and then drove back to my house to get cameras. It was still there when we arrived back there. So, although Colorado is wonderful, our own backyard has its own delights! 100mm macro

Devil's Thumb Ranch 2009 Part 1

We just returned from our annual trip to Devil's Thumb Ranch. Oh wow, was it ever a good one!!!! I decided to take my Canon 280IS point and shoot camera with me. It did a fabulous job!! Plus it was just down right fun.
