It's still winter!

Woke up today to 3 or so inches of fresh snow. What a treat for the dogs (and me too)! These are plain old shots from my 70-200mm lens uncropped.

Branched Oak Lake Part 2

Here's a few more from today. Just love how the 400mm lens pops the images at 5.6 when you are in a close range.

Bird Practice

Darwin and I went out to Branched Oak this afternoon. Saw lots of birds, including several eagles.

Valentine's Day

Deb and I went snowshoeing at the lake this morning. Walla! Hoar Frost again!!!! What a delight. We walked for an hour and then drove back to my house to get cameras. It was still there when we arrived back there. So, although Colorado is wonderful, our own backyard has its own delights! 100mm macro
