LiveView in the Garden

This is an interesting feature of the new camera. It is called LiveView. It turns the screen on and you are able to zoom in 5x & 10x to adjust your focus. The camera was on a tripod, so it was very nice not to have to try and look through the view finder. I would have never been able to focus on the rock through the waterdrop without this feature. Really nice.

New camera testing

I tested the Al Servo tracking mode of my new camera and it was really bad. I couldn't get a clean focus of Zephyr running around in the back yard. I called the company I bought it from in Kentucky and I had a replacement at my doorstep this morning. The new body definitely can track a running dog! I was really glad I caught it in time for it just to be replaced and not serviced.

Children's Zoo with Friends

We went to the Children's Zoo today. All I can say is WOW. This new camera is something else. It does a wonderful job of light metering. It was a splendid day with friends.

What Zephyr Sees

I got a new camera body today. It is very different than the XTi. It has many more options and features. Zephyr loves to sit on my desk so I caught her watching a spider on the outside screen.
